
Armida Diaz is a fourth generation native of Baja California, who resides in the United States in La Jolla California. Her art education includes drawing, painting and art history classes in both Mexico and the United States. She has over thirty years experience utilizing oil pigments, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, and charcoal on both paper and canvas, and she has over 20 years in the fine art industry as an active and art-exhibiting artist. Her exhibits include Collective and Individual Exhibitions in both the United States and Mexico.
Armida holds a Masters degree in Public Health; Biostatistics & Epidemiology from San Diego State University (SDSU), a Medical Technology license from the state of California (CAMLT ), and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Microbiology from the University of California in San Diego (UCSD). Besides painting, Armida has worked in the clinical, research, biotechnical, and pharmaceutical industries for over 20 years.
